Family Coaching honors your family where you’re at.

At Satya, we understand that your family could be anywhere in its healing process. Therefore, we use our special training and experience in coaching to meet your family where you’re at–whether you’ve never had a day of therapy or you’ve experienced the gamut. We understand how important it is to give your family tools to succeed and grow. What you will learn about family coaching is that it is all application focused. You will be asked to act on what you learn during this process. Your coach will assign you regular tasks and be there to ensure you can follow-through on your goals. We believe that action is the true indication of genuine change.

The most pronounced difference between Satya Family Coaching and other services is the focus on the family system. This is the only program designed to meet the specific needs of your teen and family, holding everyone to a high level of accountability. We do this by using research backed approaches, including yoga philosophy.

Satya follows a unique coaching paradigm which asserts that each family is unique and deserves a tailor made approach. While there is a set curriculum and time frame, your coach will offer in-the-moment interventions and respond to your family’s immediate needs. Your family coach will strive to build a strong rapport with you and your child and bridge the family cohesion in a way that makes you feel safe and accountable.

[/zilla_toggle] [zilla_toggle title=”How will I know if my family is a fit?” state=”closed”] Satya has an expansive history addressing the following issues:

  • Substance abuse
  • Self-harm
  • Body image/eating disorders
  • Adoption issues
  • Attachment issues
  • Mood disorders
  • Behavioral issues
  • Family conflict

The best indication of your family fitting with Satya’s services is parental motivation for change.  If you, as the parents are willing to receive teachings and skills that are designed to help your family grow, then this is the right program for you. Our belief is that if parents invest in their own self-care, healing process, and personal accountability, the whole family dynamic changes.   [/zilla_toggle] [zilla_toggle title=”Are there any families you don’t work with?” state=”closed”] While Satya hopes to serve as many families as possible, there are some cases where we won’t be able to match certain needs.
